‍Asado, a grilling ritual, a popular form of spending free time and an integral part of the Argentinean tradition. During the feast, huge amounts of meat are eaten and soaked in a special sauce called chimichurri. Chimichurri is an aromatic sauce made of parsley, oregano leaves, garlic, chili pepper, olive oil and wine vinegar. The Argentinean delicacy can be enriched with fresh coriander, onion or chives. It is usually served as an addition to grilled meat and roasted vegetables, but it also works well as a marinade for poultry or fish.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

INGREDIENTS

1 bunch of parsley
1/2 bunch of oregano leaves
1/2 bunch of cilantro leaves
2 cloves of garlic
2 green chili pepper
2 tiny shallot
8 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of red or white wine vinegar
sea ​​salt and coarsely ground pepper
