Why This one

a few words from me

It's getting chilly outside, we come tired from work and in the fridge only a few of yesterday's sausages are left ... What we can do to make a quick, tasty and easy dinner to put smile on family faces ? Simple and easy to make sausage stew is an answer ;-)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

INGREDIENTS

4 tbsp vegetable oil

6 g/f sausages ( I used Lincolnshire)

2 onions, sliced

6-10 mushrooms (depend on size)

1 sweet cabbage

250 ml BBQ sauce ( I used Heinz with 2 tbsp honey)

THE how to make

INstructions

1. Gently heat the oil in a large pan

2. Fry the sausages all over until brown, then remove and set aside

3. Add the onion to the pan and fry for 5-10 mins until golden and soft

4. Add shredded sweet cabbage and cook for 5 mins more

5. Add mushrooms cut in quarters or sliced, cook for 2-3 more minutes

6. Slice sausages

7. Reduce the heat and add the sausages back to the pan

8. Simmer for 8 mins, then stir in BBQ sauce

9. Ladle into freshly baked jacket potatoes
